I am a RYT-200, offering private yoga lessons and small group lessons.
I strive to offer acceptance and connection to my clients, restoration to the body, and a greater feeling of each person’s interdependence with the Earth, humanity, and their own internal divinity.
What Can Yoga Do for Me?
Yoga (asana – or the physical poses) is an amazing practice that can strengthen the body, relax the mind, and restore the spirit. It can help prepare a woman’s body for labor, help her recover from birth. It can relieve day-to-day stress, and give you the tools to handle bigger stressors as they arise. It can help you gain flexibility, strength, and is great cross-training for a variety of sports.
Meditation, another limb of the yoga practice, can be used to find a pause in the craziness of daily life. It can reconnect us to our inner strength and wisdom, and help quiet the mind when it starts to talk too loudly. Meditation can be done as part of an asana yoga practice, or separately to find a cessation of the fluctuation of the mind.
What I Offer:
Yin/restorative or hatha/align – with or without meditation; Megan enjoys sharing her mindfully paced practice with anyone eager to learn. We can structure lessons as you would find a class in a studio, offer an introduction to the basic poses and their proper alignment, or work towards a pose of your choice. Let me know your goals!
My hourly rate ranges from $40 – 60 depending on what you are looking for, whether it is for a private or small group, and if you are providing the space or I am. I have space available at certain times in Parker, CO.
I do offer a discounted private package of 5 classes for $150. I also offer a one time introduction class where we review the most common poses and their proper alignment for $25.
